Meeting No. 322 Venue: Grand Hotel ; Date: Oct. 19th ,2012
Time: 19:00P.M.~21:30p.m.
Meeting Theme: Happy
Attendant Guests (2 persons): Sophia Lu (Ale Max), Sharon Lin
Attendant members: 11 persons
President: Austin Chien
Manual Speech : (Master: Terence Ho)
Terence prepared really well to be a meeting master, and he did perform much better including his pronunciation, facial expression and energy. And he had a clear introduction about the meeting process.
1. James Wu (C1): Introduce Yourself (Ice Breaker )
A shy-looking boy, James, did his first speech in English in publish. He was nervous but brave to finish his first mission. From his speech, we now understand that James is a person of certain humor, justice lover, and positive attitude. In fact, James’ word ability and pronunciation is good. What he has to do is keep practicing and practicing.
2. Judy Lai (C3): How to Be Successful (Get to The Point)
Judy’s delivery improved a lot compared with her previous two, and she showed much more confident. Especially when she was talking about the example of her lovely son, the voice and facial expression really touched the audience. Should there were more vocal variety, her delivery will be much better. Congratulations, Judy, you did a great job.
3. Table Topic: (Master: Vickie Lai)
There are always laughers when Vickie stays with us. She knows how to encourage members and lead them to show their emotion and to give vent to their pressure.
1. Are you happy today? Why or why not?
2. Show the audience the action you will do when you are happy with something?
3. Which song makes you feel happy?
4. Which person makes you feel happy when you see him/her?
5. Are you happy to be human being? If not, what animal you want to become?
Evaluation: (Master: Vincent Chien)
1. Casey Lin: Long time no see, our charter president. Casey knows very well how to encourage an ice breaker and show him/her certain tips. She recommended James to be braver and try to have more speeches and more rehearsals as well.
2. Mark Huang (Andy Liu): Mark explained the main objectives of C3 speech and showed his appreciation to Judy’s speech. The only suggestion he had for Judy was more vocal variety.
